On the very same streets upon which we drive exists a network unknown to many — a complex web of interconnected peoples known only as “driving instructors.”

While your experience with a driving instructor was probably just boring, fierce rivalries exist between instructors that can lead to on-the-street chaos. Case in point: A recent video shared to Reddit, in which one driving instructor is confronted head-on by a fellow driving instructor.

The man begins yelling incoherently while forcing the woman’s door open. The man continues, saying that she’s broken numerous laws and referencing her social media accounts (these beefs go deep, you see). Throughout all of this, the woman filming the video is telling the man in the politest of terms to “get bent.”

At one point, the camera turns to show the man in question, whose face has been blurred. Naturally, he too is filming the whole thing. He’s also yelling “Be more respectable” — a feud for the ages, really. (The video was originally posted by Clearview Driving, a driver’s education school in the U.K.)

As some Redditors pointed out, saying “you are breaking the law” while breaking the law much more severely isn’t a great defense. “Pulling in without signaling, holding an internet-connected device whilst driving, section 5 public order offense and being a ----,” stated one commenter. “Definitely should not have blurred his face.”

Others were surprised at how intense arguments can get in the driver’s ed scene. As one user put it, “Dang, the educational driving industry is a lot more cutthroat [than] one would suspect.”

Hey, it ain’t easy out there in those (literal) streets.
